Transitioning youth and young adults with disabilities from school to adult life is very important in Alabama. The Department of Education, The Deparetment of Rehabilitation, The Department of Mental Heath and Mental Retardation, and The Department of Corrections have been working together for a long time to help Alabama's youth and young adults with disabilities be successful citizens. Collaboration between these agencies is important to their success. This website is designed to assist in that collaboration. If you have an idea that works in your area, please use this website to share those ideas with the rest of the state.
