Working Group > National Community of Practice on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) > Discussion > How can your experiences with UDL enrich the work of others?
Hopefully, by sharing experiences related to UDL we can shorten the learning curves of others, increase the frequency with which UDL strategies are used and create a new standard of practice.
It is interesting to me that the principles of Universal Design for Learning have been used since the field of "marketing" began. Multiple means of representation is really "branding". Multiple means of engagement is really "channel marketing" etc. We know these principles work. Now we need to enrich instruction for children creating media-rich opportunities for learning in the ways that businesses have used these strategies for years. Interested to know if anyone else sees this link.
