National Community of Practice on Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Description

Welcome!

The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) site is a space for anyone who has an interest or passion for implementing the principles of UDL for all students.

To better understand UDL, visit the "Universal design and universal design for learning" video at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDvKnY0g6e4

This UDL Community of Practice will serve as a central repository for sharing resources, best practices, and success stories. We will work differently than other Communities of Practice because almost all of our work will take place on the Shared Work site. This will allow us to model and practice the principles of UDL that emphasize 1) multiple means of representation, 2) multiple means of expression, and 3) multiple means of expression.

Here are some ways you can participate in this community:

  • Offer your knowledge and resources to help this community grow.
  • Add your resources in the identified folders in the 'View files by folder' section.
  • Share your experiences with UDL to enrich the work of others - Join in the discussions under the 'View Discussions' area.
  • Post your success stories in the 'UDL Success Stories' folder.

Through this joint effort we can evolve as a true virtual UDL Community of Practice -- learning from one another, scaffolding each others' experiences and engaging in this social exchange of resources and information.
